HEART SHAPED RED VELVET CUPCAKES 
Prep time: 15-20 mins
Cook time: 20-25 mins
Makes 12

Ingredients
150g unsalted butter
150g caster sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp red food gel colouring
1 tsp vanilla extract
85ml buttermilk
165g self-raising flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Frosting
45g unsalted butter
125g icing sugar
30g full-fat cream cheese
sprinkles

Method
Preheat oven 180°C/160°C fan, line tin.
Beat butter & sugar, mix in eggs, vanilla, colour, buttermilk, cocoa & flour. Fold in bicarb & vinegar.
Spoon into cases, add foil balls for heart dents, bake 20–25 mins. Cool.
Whisk frosting ingredients till smooth, spread on cakes & decorate.
