RASPBERRY ICED BUNS
Soft, fluffy and filled with sweet jam, these Raspberry Iced Buns are the perfect Valentine’s weekend treat and best enjoyed fresh. Save this for your next baking day.

Makes 8
Ingredients
375g white bread flour
25g caster sugar
7g yeast
200ml lukewarm milk
1 egg
50g butter, softened
30g pistachios, chopped
Pinch of salt
Icing
100g raspberries +16 halved for topping
300g icing sugar
Method
Mix dry ingredients, add milk, egg & butter, knead 10 mins. Prove 1 hr.
Divide into 8, shape into hearts, prove 45 mins.
Brush with milk, bake 15–20 mins @190°C till golden. Cool.
(Optional) Fill with raspberry jam.
Mix raspberry icing, spread on top, add nuts & fresh raspberries.
